POSTED l -11 -1a /J/lri _1/l ~ATE Utt/ tat{_[/'~ SIGNATURE STATE OF ALABAMA )( COUNTY OF BALDWIN )( The City Council met in a Work Session at 5:2 1 p.m ., City Hall , Delchamps Room , 161 North Section Street, Fairhope , Alabama 36532, on Monday, 26 April 2010. Present were: Present were Council President Lonnie L. Mixon, Councilmembers: Debbie W. Quinn, Daniel Stankoski , Michael A. Ford , and Rick Kingrea , Mayor Timothy M. Kant , City Clerk Lisa A . Hanks . City Attorney Marion E. Wynne was absent. Council President Mixon called the meeting to order at 5 :21 p .m . The following topics were discussed : • Noise and Alcohol Ordinances was put off until the May 17, 2010 Work Session. • Jonathan Smith, Director of Planning and Building , explained the Proposed Red Clay Ordinance. • City Administrator Gregg Mims explained the final draft of the Lease Agreement between the City of Fairhope and Auburn University. Motion to approve and authorize Mayor Kant to execute the lease will be added to the City Council agenda. • Councilmembers Quinn and Stankoski were asked to look over the ordinances for the use Civic Center regarding fee waivers and report back to Council. • Charlie Smith from the Public Works Study Committee gave an update and a list of possible ways to save money and make labor more efficient. • Special meeting was set for May 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Delchamps Room for a Work Session to discuss Financial Impro ve ments , Waivers of Fees, and Noise and Alcohol Ordinances . • Dog Park sod was mentioned and will be funded from the Public Works budget. There being no further business to come before the City Council , the meeting was duly adjourned at 5:51 p.m. Lonnie L. Mixon , Council President
