The City Council met in an Agenda Meeting at 5:30 p.m.,
Delchamps Room, 161 North Section Street,
Fairhope, Alabama 36532, on Monday, 11 April 2016.
Present were Council President Jack Burrell, Councilmembers: Rich Mueller,
Diana Brewer, Michael A. Ford, and Kevin Boone, Mayor Timothy M. Kant, City
Attorney Marion E. Wynne, and City Clerk Lisa A. Hanks.
Council President Burrell called the meeting to order at 5:44 p.m. The City
Council reviewed and discussed the agenda for their meeting to be held today at 6:00
p.m. Agenda Item Number 6: an Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1510 known as
the Personnel Rules, Policies and Procedures Ordinance was briefly discussed by Diane
Thomas, Chair of the Personnel Board. Ms. Thomas commented Mayor Kant need a new
tool for overtime and this will allow up to 48 hours of compensatory time to be accrued.
She also mentioned the need for one more member to be added to the Board. Agenda
Item Number 13: a Resolution to award bid for emergency repairs to the Civic Center
brick wall was briefly explained by Trey Jinright, Engineer of Record. Mr. Jinright also
explained the scope of work.
There being no further business to come before the City Council, the meeting was
duly adjourned at 5:58 p.m.
