HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-327ORDINANCE # 327 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE that the City Zoning Ordinance #231 be amended by rezoning the perperty here and after described from R-1 to M-1 in accordance with the recommendation of the Fairhope Planning and Zoning Commission on June 5, 1964, said property being described: From the Southeast Corner of Section 19, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, run West 40 feet; thence run North 00"07' E, parallel to the Eastern boundary of said section, 1895.8 feet to a point in the approximate middle of a small gully, for the Point of Beginning of the property herein described: Thence run down said gully, S76 07' W, 163.8 feet; N 71 13' W, 85.6 feet; and S 71 12' W, 63.5 feet to a point in the confluence of said gully and another small gully, said point being on the eastern boundary of property owned by M.O. Berglin thence, continuing down said gully, run N 74 25'W, 353.3 feet and N 26 12'W, 332.6 feet to the confluence of said gully with Big Head Gully; thence up Big Head Gully, run N 48 53' E, 99.7 feet, and S 70 42' E, 115.1 feet and N 71 14; E, 103.7 feet, S 87 47" E, 162.6 feet, and N 69 30' E, 154.7 feet to a point in the middle of said gully and on the southern boundary of Lot or Block 53 in the Magnolia Beach Addition to Fairhope, Alabama, as shown by map recorded in Miscellaneous Book 1, at pages 330=331, Probate Records, Baldwin County, Alabama; thence along said boundary of said Block 53, run S 56 44' E, 258 feet more or less to a point on the Western margin of Section Street Road; thence run S 00 07' W along said S ction Street and parallel to the said eastern boundary of sai$ section, a distance of 341.2 feet to the point of beginning; Lot containes 7.0 acres, more or less, and is a portion of that certain property here- tofore purchased by Angelo Houston from Frank W. Walker, and lies in Lot 1, otherwise known as "The NE 1/4 of the SE 1/4"9 of Section 19, T6S,R2E, Baldwin County, Alabama. Adopted this the 27th day of July, 1964. I, Marie Moore, Clerk of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinace is a true and correct copy as adopted by the City Council at their regular meeting on July 27, 1964 and published in the Fairhope Courier, a news- paper published and having general circulation in said City..
