Special Call Meeting
August 18, 2026
The Fairhope Airport Authority met August 18, 2026, at 5:00PM in the
Delchamps Room at 161 N Section Street .
Present: Pel Henry, Chairman, Ronnie Holyfield, Don Ward, Will Bruce, Len
Strickland, and Jack Burrell. Susana Freeman was absent. Also present was
Dave Friedel, Airport Manager. Dave took the Minutes.
Consideration of Resolution to Approve the Following Item:
Grant application for land reimbursement through AIP program.
Pel stated that, as discussed at the meeting on August 11, the board wished to
submit a grant application for land reimbursement. Don Ward made a motion
to approve submittal of the application for land reimbursement through the
AIP program. Len Strickland seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Don Ward to adjourn the meeting,
second by Ronnie Holyfield and unanimously passed.
There being no further business, the meeting was rned at 5:02 PM.
