AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 221 PROVIDING GENERAL LICENSE TAXES IN THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA AND IN ITtS POLICE JURISDICTION. 3E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE ALABAMA, AS FOLLO'.'1S: SECTION I, To add to Ordinance No. 221, and designating it as schedule 198 to read as follows: SCHEDULE 198. TRADING STAMPS: (a) That all persons, firms, or corporations engaged in the business of furnishing trading stamps,'checks, or tickets to merchandise in the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to be distributed among their customers shall pay for an annual license tax to the Cityof Fairhope, Alabama in the amount of d p � (b) That all persons, firms, or corporations engaged in the business of furnishing trading stamps, checks, or tickets to the merchants in the police jurisdiction of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but not within the city limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to be distributed among their customers shall pay an an- nual license to the city of Fairhope, Alabama, in the amount of Councilman4L � moved that the rules be suspended and unanimous consent be given for immediate con sideration of an action on said ordinance, which motion was secon-_ ded by Councilman) and upon the motion being put to vote the following vote was recorded; voting "yes", and ;�_ ; looting "nay"; The Mayor thereupon declared that the motion for unanimous consent for immediate consideration of and action on said ordinance had been unanimously carried.
