Present were Council President Jimmy Conyers. Councili-neinbers: Jack Burrell, Joshua Garnmon, Jay Robinson, and And-Tca Booth, Mayor Sherry Sullivan, City Attorney Marcus E. %lcDo%vcll, and City Clerk Lisa A. Hanks. I he CzF Council took a 10 minute break before the City Council meeting. There being a quoruin present,. Council (PreSident Conyers called the meeting to order at 6:15 li.m, The invocation was given by Mayor Roy Dobbs, former Ala�ama League of Municipalities' President, and member of Falrhopc Aventle Baptist Church,- and the Pledge of Allegiance vvas recited. She thanked the employees Ror �N,hat they do forthe City. Chief Stephanie Holimahead addressed the City Council and recognized the following Officcrsxith their promotions: Damian Rchorn prornotud to Licutenart Logan Duplechain promoted to Serg.cant Dalton Bellamy promoted to Corporal Joseph "Joey" Seay promoted to CoToral Chief I lollinglicad i-ccognized family of these officers, and thanked the City Council and Mayor for their support and allowing lici- the opportunity to do Oc.sc promotions. Couricilmernhers Burrell and Garrinion did not have any Committees 'prior to the meeting.
