Join us for a free Hurricane Preparedness Event on Saturday, May 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Fairhope Civic Center. Renowned meteorologist James Spann returns to Fairhope to share practical tips on how to prepare your home, protect your family, and stay informed during severe weather. His keynote presentation begins at 10:00 a.m. This family-friendly event will also feature: • Safety demonstrations • First responder meet-and-greets • Touch-a-Truck for kids • Prizes and giveaways • Light lunch Learn how to prepare ahead of the storm and help keep your household—and our community—safe this hurricane season. The Downtown Fairhope Business Association, in partnership with the City of Fairhope, invites the community to an All-American Movie in the Park as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday. Join us on Friday, May 29 at 7:30 p.m. for a showing of the beloved family favorite The Sandlot. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy a fun evening with family and friends at Fairhoper’s Community Park (105 S. Church Street). Free popcorn will be provided while supplies last. Residents are invited to join Mayor Sherry Sullivan for Coffee with the Mayor, an informal opportunity to ask questions, hear updates, and connect with city leadership. Representatives from the City’s Park and Recreation Department will also be available to discuss services and answer questions. Friday, May 8 9:00 a.m. Quail Creek Clubhouse Coffee and light refreshments will be provided. We hope you’ll join us for this open community conversation. The Downtown Fairhope Business Association and the City of Fairhope invite you to the 12th Annual Fairhope Girls Night Out on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in beautiful Downtown Fairhope. This year’s theme, “Masters: A Night Unlike Any Other,” brings a golf-inspired twist to one of Fairhope’s most popular events. Gather your girlfriends and enjoy an evening of shopping, sipping, and celebrating throughout downtown. More than 100 downtown businesses will participate, offering exclusive discounts, door prizes, complimentary refreshments, and live entertainment.
