Request for Work Session Presentation -New Police Precinct at Quail
Creek (May 26, 2026)
Mayor Sullivan and President Conyers:
The Council has appropriated funds for the design of a new Police Precinct in the
eastern portion of the City and has previously approved the proposed location at Quail
Creek, across from the Golf Course Clubhouse.
PCDA Architecture {Paul Davis, AIA) has been working with the Police Chief and her
staff to develop the programmatic layout of the precinct. Concurrently, PCDA has
coordinated with City Leadership to prepare preliminary building elevations and site
layout concepts.
Before finalizing the design, staff requests the opportunity to present the proposed plans
to the Council for review and direction at the next available Work Session. Attached for
your consideration are the following materials:
•Programmatic floor plan
•Front building elevation
•Preliminary site plan
I respectfully request placement on the May 26, 2026 Work Session agenda to present
the proposed design, receive Council input, and seek consent to proceed with this
capital project during FY2027.
