Let’s go for a ride
Along with the traditional Thursday afternoon market,
organizers will introduce a once-a-month Saturday
morning market on the first Saturday of each month. The
idea comes directly from community feedback—Fairhope
residents have long asked for a weekend option, and the
city is ready to give it a try.
The season kicks off Saturday, April 4, with the first
Thursday market opening April 9. Markets will continue
through the end of June. Hours are 2–6 p.m. on Thursdays
and 8 a.m.–noon on Saturdays.
Located behind the Fairhope Public Library, the market
brings together a vibrant lineup of local vendors
showcasing the very best Baldwin County has to offer.
Shoppers will find fresh produce, baked goods, plants,
handmade items, and more from area farmers, growers,
and makers.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to support local
businesses while enjoying fresh, healthy, and truly
homegrown products. Come out and see what’s new this
season at the Fairhope Farmers Market!
Easter morning in Fairhope will begin with a special community gathering
at the fountain by the Fairhope Municipal Pier. The Eastern Shore
Optimist Club will host its annual Easter Sunrise Service on April 20 at
6:30 a.m., offering residents and visitors a peaceful way to welcome the
day. A local pastor is scheduled to deliver a short sermon as the sun rises
over the bay. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or a comfortable
folding chair for seating.
Join us on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Quail Creek Golf
Course for the 38th Annual Mayor’s Golf and Pickleball
Tournament, a day of fun, friendly competition, and
community connection. Open to all skill levels, the event
welcomes seasoned players and those who simply want to
enjoy time outdoors. Proceeds from the tournament benefit
the Fairhope Educational Enrichment Foundation (FEEF),
supporting Fairhope’s five public schools by funding
programs and equipment not typically covered by school
budgets.

The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department invites the
community to its annual Open House on Saturday,
April 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Station 2, located at
19875 Thompson Hall Road. This free, family-friendly
event offers a fun and educational experience for all
ages. Visitors can tour the fire station, see modern
firefighting equipment up close, and learn more about
the department’s operations. Both kids and adults will
have the chance to try on real firefighting gear and get
a hands-on look at what it takes to serve as a firefighter.
It is a great opportunity to meet your local firefighters
and learn how they help keep Fairhope safe every day.The Easter Bunny is making a special stop in Fairhope!
On Saturday, March 28th, families are invited to visit the
Easter Bunny in front of the Fairhope Museum of History.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., children will have the chance to
take photos and share smiles with everyone’s favorite
springtime guest. Be sure to bring your camera to capture
this special moment!
In honor of Earth Day, the City of Fairhope will host a free community shredding event on Saturday,
April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 451 Pecan Avenue. Residents are encouraged to do a little spring
cleaning and safely dispose of old documents and unwanted papers through secure on-site shredding.
