HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-112ORDINANCE NO. 112 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF FAIRHOPE, ALA- BAMA, AS FOLLOWS: That Section Three of the ordinance fixing the water rates of the Town of Fairhope, approved July llth, 1929, be amended to read as follows& SECTION THREE. When meters are installed a fee of five dollars shall be paid by the consumer prior to the installation of the meter. On and after the 15th day od December, 1932 the rates for water used by consumers through a meter will be: For the first five thousands gallons, thirty cents per thousand gallons. For the next two thousand gallons, twenty-five cents per thousand gallons. For the next five thousand gallons, twenty cents per thousand gallons. For the next thirty-eight thousand gallons, eight- een cents per thousand gallons. For the next fifty thousand gallons, fifteen cents per thousand gallons. For one hundred thousand gallons and over, twelve cents per thousand gallons straight. Minimum Charge for any one month one dollar and fifty cents. THIS ORDINANCE shall become effective upon its passage and publication. ADOPTED October 25, 1932. Mayor Clerk ~
