State and local municipalities are responsible for where or how e-bikes can be used. ●Summarized by Google AI - EU, electric bikes (e-bikes) are generally regulated as pedal-assisted cycles, requiring a motor of no more than 250W and a speed cut-off at 25 km/h (15.5 mph) to be treated as regular bicycles.
