Park entrance.

Mr. McNally requested that these rules be spelled out on big

at the Park entrances. He further requested that small No

Roster. Seconded by Councilman Duck, motion passed unanimously.

ment to the Organic School Board for a 3-year term; and

nations and appoint Ms. Parker & Ms. Quinn by acclamation.
Seconded by Councilwoman Puckett, motion passed unanimously.
Approximately 25-to-35 people were present to discuss a
recent request by Mr. Jack Kendrick to close the Beach area
at night. Each councilmember expressed their thoughts on the
request: the consensus seemed to be that it was too unfair
to close the beach every night, to all traffic, year-round and,
while they sympathized with Mr. Kendrick and other persons
living near the area, there were ordinances already in place
and available for use; such as public disturbance and noise.
After much discussion, Councilman Duck moved to leave the beach
ordinances as they are (which includes closing the area on
Saturday and Sunday, to vehicular traffic, from 8:30 pm to
6:00 am), and request the police to tighten up on their
enforcement, and to make reports to the Council from time to
time. Seconded by Councilwoman Puckett, motion passed unanimously.
Councilman Ford moved to hear the following two items not
on the Agenda. Seconded by Councilman Duck, motion passed
