NOTICE AND CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given of a special meeting of the
City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to be
held at the Fairhope Municipal Complex Council
Chamber, on Wednesday, 13 May 1987, at 5:00 pm, for
the purpose of awarding bid on the foundation and
erection of T-Hangar Building for the Airport Board.
CONSENT TO HOLDING OF MEETING
The undersigned members of the City Council of the
City of Fairhope, Alabama, do hereby acknowledge
service of the Notice and Call of Special Meeting
hereinabove set forth and do hereby consent to the
holding of such meeting at such time and in such
place and for the purpose set forth therein.

The City Council, City of Fairhope, met in special session
at 5:00 pm; Fairhope Municipal Complex Council Chamber,
161 North Section Street; Fairhope, Alabama 36532; on
Wednesday, 13 May 1987.
The purpose of this meeting was to award a bid on the
foundation and erection of T-Hangar Building for the
Airport Board.
Present were Mayor James P. Nix; Councilmembers Roy C.
White, Jeanette Puckett, and Barney L. Shull; and City Clerk
Evelyn Phillips. Councilmembers David E. Bishop and Michael
A. Ford were absent.
There being a quorum present, Mayor Nix called the meeting
to order.
The Airport Board opened the following bids on May 12th
on the construction of approximately 10,000 sq. ft. of con-
crete floor slab and foundation, and the erection thereon
of an 8-unit prefab metal T-Hangar Building (10,000 sq.ft.)
including doors:

Councilwoman Puckett moved to accept the low bid from Mark IV
Construction, with painted steel ($40,150), provided all
specifications are met. Seconded by Councilman Shull,
motion passed unanimously.
Meeting was duly adjourned at 5:06 pm.
