A group of citizens from Covered Bridge Estates asked
to be heard by the Council. Mr. Dennis Porter, spokesman,
advised that he and 4 of his neighbors in one area of
Covered Bridge Estates had been having problems with the
copper pipe in their homes and they would like some of
the City's utility personnel to come out and inspect the
piping for a possible solution to the problem. All of
them reported that small pinholes were appearing in the
pipe with resultant water leaks and several plumbers had
been unable to discover the reason. Supt. Rutherford was
asked to investigate.
