CONSENT TO HOLDING OF The undersigned members of the City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, do hereby acknowledge service of the Notice and Call of Special Meeting here 4nabove set forth• and do hereby consent to the holding of such meeting at such time and in such place and for the purpose set forth rein. ,.. STATE OF ALABAMA X COUNTY OF BALDWIN The City Council, City of Fairhope, met in special session at 5:30 o'clock, P.M., Fairhope Municipal Complex, 161 North Section Street, Fairhope, Alabama 36532, on Wednesday, 29 June 1983. Present were Mayor James P. Nix; Councilmembers Sam E. Box, Michael A. Ford, David E. Bishop, Trisha Nelson, and Roy C. White; City Attorney James Reid and City Clerk Evelyn Phillips. Absent: none. The purpose of this meeting was to consider, and take action on, an ordinance authorizing the issuance of certain general obligation warrants of the City. Mayor, Nix declared a quorum to be present and called the meeting to order. Councilman Box introduced Ordinance No. 723, an ordinance authorizing the issuance and making sale of $1,430,000 prin- cipal amount of General Obligation Warrants to be dated 1 June 1983. Councilman White moved that the rules be suspended and unanimous consent be given for immediate consideration of and action on the said ordinance, which motion was seconded by Councilman Ford, and upon the same being put to vote the following vote was recorded: AYE - Nix, Bishop, Box, Ford, Nelson, and White. NAY - none. The Mayor declared the motion had been unanimously carried. Councilman Box thereupon moved that Ordinance No. 723 be finally adopted, which motion was seconded by Councilman Bishop, and upon being put to vote the following vote was recorded: AYE - Nix, Bishop, Box, Ford, Nelson, and White.
