Present were Mayor James P. Nix; Councilmembers Trisha Nelson, David E. Bishop, Michael A. Ford and Samuel E. Box; City Attorney James Reid and City Clerk Evelyn Phillips. Absent was Councilman Roy C. White because of illness. The purpose of this meeting was to consider and take action on an Ordinance authorizing the issuance of Water Revenue Bonds in the principal amount of 5338,000. This is the final phase (B) of the FmHA Waterline extension project. Mayor Nix declared a quorum was present and called the meeting to order. Notice and Call of Special Meeting had been duly served on each member and had been duly acknowledged. Councilman Box introduced Ordinance No. 714, an Ordinance authorizing the issuance of $338,000 principal amount of water revenue bonds. Councilman Bishop moved that the rules be sus- pended and that unanimous consent be given for immediate con- sideration of and action on said ordinance, which motion was seconded by Councilman Ford, and, upon the motion being put to vote, the following vote was recorded: YEAS - Mayor Nix Councilmembers Bishop, Nelson, Box and Ford NAYS - none Councilman Box then moved that the said ordinance be finally adopted, which motion was seconded by Councilman Ford, and, upon being put to vote, the following vote was recorded: YEAS - Mayor Nix Councilmembers Bishop, Nelson, Box and Ford NAYS - none The Mayor thereupon declared that the motion for adoption of said ordinance had been unanimously carried.
