HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-18-1976 Special MeetingSTATE OF ALABAMA COUNTY OF BALDWIN The City Council of the City of Fairhope, Alabama met in special session on Saturday, December 18, 1976, at 9:30 A.M., at the City Administration Building, 387 Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, Alabama, with the following members present: Mayor James P. Nix, Councilmen: Henry G. Bishop, Sam E. Box, Jack A. Stipes and Billy D. Wiggins. Members absent: Councilman David E. Bishop. The purpose of the special called session was to discuss the immediate repairs needed on the City Bulldozer. Mayor Nix informed the Councilmen that the Bulldozer had blown up last week and that the City was presently renting one at a cost of $ 976.00 per week, and that the City needed to repair the bulldozer as soon as possible. Councilman Sam E. Box moved, seconded by Councilman Billy D. Wiggins, to install a new motor in the bulldozer, and get a guarantee in writing on the motor once it is installed. Motion carried.
