Gentlemen: In a meeting of the Retail Trade Committee of the Fairhope Eastern Shore Chamber of Co,rmerce on December llth, it was decided by the committee to ask tre City officials to make changes concerning parl.ing in the business section of our Will you be good enough to consider the feasibility of the following? and several city. 1. That the two hour parking limit in t'_^e business area be changed beck to one hour limit? We realize thwt it was at t'lis committee's request that a two '.,our limit.be observed, but it has worked out to pose some problems whicl-, we feel can be eliminated only trrou`h changing back to the one hour limit. 2. It is furt-er sug-,ested tl^at Vie streets be marked for diag- onal parking on the south side -)f Johnson and Delmar, in the one block which they both run, through the dountnwn sects n. 3. Also, that Church Street be marked for parallel par'_:ing on both sides of t'-e street, from Fairhope Avenue to i:agnolia; starting on t'^e east side of tre street at the a'ley back of the old Pig,ly- T,igrly building, and extending to the corner at 1.1agnnlia. On the west side of the street t'^e mar?:i,i , should be where it is practical. 4.
