County of Baldwin
The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in regular session at the
City Hall, Monday, December 9, 11957 with the following members presents
Mayor E. B. Overton, City Manager C . B. Niemeyer, Councilmen: C . F.
Belew, M. 0. Berglin, J. F. McDaniel, Wm. R. Ruffles, Jr. and B. L. Shull.
Motion by Councilman McDaniel seconded by Councilman Ruffles that the
minutes of the previous regular meeting be approved as read. Motion
carried.
Councilman Ruffles reported that the committee appointed to check the
Nahrgang Building on Fairhope Avenue was of the opinion that the
building was not considered a health or safety hazard,
Councilman Shull gave a preliminary report on development of com:iercial fis
f i sh i ng area i n F I y Creek area.
The bill submitted by Mr. E. M. Deupree, less $50,00, was approvedfor
payment subject to the completion and delivery of- maps as per contract.
Motion by Councilman Ruf f I eseseconded by Councilman Shull that the
statement submitted by Mr. W. C. Beebe be approved for payment. Motion
carried.
Motion by Councilman Ruffles seconded by Councilman McDaniel that the
