COUNTY OF BALDW'I N
The City '-ounc i I of the City of Fairhope met in regular session at the City
Hall, Monday, February 11,. 1957 with the following members present: Mayor
E. B. Overton,. C 1 ty Manager C . B. N i emeycr, C ounc 11 ren: C. F . Bel ewr, John
W. Fleming, Johnnie F. McDaniels, Barney Shull and Vim. R. Ruffles, Jr.
The minutes of the previous regulzr meeting were read and approved as read.
Councilman Shu I- I reported to the Council that the diebr i !� in Fly Creek that
was discussed at the, last meeting was not adjoining City property.
Mr. Darden of the Southern Stamp Company and a group of merchants met with
the Council in regards to Trade Stamps. The Council postponed any action
until a -further study could be made.
Motion by C ounc:ilman Shuli seconded by Councilman Belew that a Beer Permit
be issued to theF€sirhope Casino downstairs Restaurant only, with the under-
standing that the license would be revoked if not satisfactory. Motion
carried.
A letter from Mr. Tunstal I, Tali Collector was held for further study.
Motion by Councilman Ruffles seconded by Councilman McDaniels that Mr.
George Dyson be authorized to draw up specifications for 42' 0. D. Gas
line between Daphne and the Fairhope Regulator Station. Motion carried.
The application for Beer License of Flora Bell was turned over to the Police
Department for investigation.
Motion by Gouncilman McDaniels seconded by Councilman Shull that the applica-
tion of Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Barbour be approved as submitted. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman McDoniels.seconded by Councilman Delew that the follow-
ing bills be approved for payment:
