County of Baldwin
The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in regular session at the City
Hall, onday, Decem/b@r 12, 1955 at 7:30 P. M. with the following members
present: Mayor E. B. Overton, City manager C. B. Niemeyer, Councilmen L. E.
Blatchford, J. D. 'Aason, R. H. Brown,, M. 0. Berglin, R. C. Macon.

County Road Commissioner Cooper met with the Council to explain the new
county street paving program. It was atreed that County Engineer Day would
contact Councilman Berglin concerning execution of this program in Fairhope.
Motion by Councilman Blatchford seconded by Councilman Berglin that the
next regular meeting of the Council falling on Dec. 26 be dispensed with.
Motion carried.
The minutes of the special meeting of the City Planning Board of Dec. 6,
1955 were read.
Motion by Councilman berglin, seconded by Councilman Blatchford, that the
following bills be approved for payment.,
