TheCity Council of the City of Fairhope met in regular session at the
City Hall, Monday, November 14, 1955 with the following members presents
Mayor E. B. Overton, Councilmen: M. 0. Berglin, B.. E. Blatchford, R. H.
Brown,, R . C. Macon and J . D. Manson.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved as read.
Motion by Councilman Berglin seconded by Councilman Macon that the application
of Boone -Huffman Development Corporation to erect sign on Fairhope Avenue
be allowed subject to City regulations. Motion carried.
A Resolution of the Fairhope-Garden Club was read to the Council and placed
on file.
Motion by Councilman Manson seconded by Councilman Berglin that the sub -division
of Amon and Martha Gates in Block 34, Magnolia Beach Addition be approved.
Motion carried.
The acceptance of Barclay Street by the City was discussed and carried over
to the next meeting of the City Louncil.
Motion by Councilman Berglin seconded by Councilman Brown that the following
bills be approved for payment:
