County of Baldwin
The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in regular
sessionat the City Hall, April 25, 1955 with the following
members present: Mayor E. B. Overton, City Manager C. B.
Niemeyer, Councilmen: M. 0. Berglin, L. E. Blatchford, R. H.
Brown, R. C. Macon and J. D. Mason.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and
approved as read.
Motion by Councilman Mason seconded by Councilman Berglin that
$500.00 be appropriated for the Youth Council summer recreation
program. Motion carried.
A general discussion was had on the softball fields and the
City Manager was authorized to get anN estimate of cost of
lighting softball field.
It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting adjourn.
Motion carried.
