County of Baldwin
The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in regular session
at the City Hall, Monday, July 13, 1953 with the following
members present: Mayor T. J. Klumpp, Councilmen M. 0. Berglin,
L. E. Blatchford, R. C. Macon, J. D. Mason and E. B. Overton.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and
approved as read.
Motion by Councilman Overton seconded by Councilman Macon that

that a 2" gas pipe be extended South on Church Street.
Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Mason seconded by Councilman Overton that
the building permit of Mr. N. Dawson be approved as submitted.
Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Macon seconded by Councilman Overton that
the building permit of Jordan Clinic be approved as submitted.
Motion carried.
A vote of thanks was given to Mr. R. C. Macon for acting as
City Manager during the absence of Mr. C. B. Niemeyer.
Motion by Councilman Mason seconded by Councilman Macon that
the City Manager be authorized to rent loader to the V.F.W.
Club. Motion carried.
It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting adjourn.
