COUNTY OF BALDWIN
The City Council of the City of Fairho a met in regular
.
session at the City Hall on Mondayq J 99 1951 with
the following members present: Mayor T. Klumppj City
Superintendent C. B. Niemeyer Councilmen: M. 0, Berglin,
J. T. Bradfordl R. H. Brown, L. B. Overton and Ira Steele.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and
approved as read.
Motion by Councilman Bradford seconded by Councilman Brown
that the following bills be approved for payment:

Motion by Councilman Bradford Seconded by Councilman Brown,
that the City widen and black top Oak Street twenty feet;
drainage the to be furnished by the Fairhope Single Tax
Corporation. Motion carried.
Motion by 0ounnilma.n Overton seconded by Councilman
Bradford that the Mayor be authorized to sign letter from
United Gas Pipe Line Company postponing the date by which
an agreement as to new pricefor natural gas shall be reached
until March 25, 1952. Motion carried.
Robert Tuveson met with the Council to discuss the problem
on the exyension of Kumquat Street. The Mayors City Manager
and Councilmen agreed to meet with Mr. Tuveson on June 10,
1951 to see what could be done.
Motion by Councilman Overton seconded by Councilman Steele
that the meeting adjourn. Motion carried.
