STATE OF ALABAMA
County of Baldwin
The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in regular
session at the City Hall, Monday, April 9, 1951 with
the following members present: Mayor T. J. Klumpp, City
Superintendent C. B. Niemeyerg Councilmen Mo 0. Berglin,
J. T. Bradfolydl R. H. Brown, E. B. Ove ton and Ira N.
Steele.
On motion by Councilman Berglin seconded by Councilman
Steele the minutes of the previous regular meeting were
read and approved as read.
Motion by Councilman Overton seconded by Councilman
Steele that the following bills be approved for pay-
ment:

Motion By Councilman Berglin seconded by Councilman
Overton that Mrs. Agnes Walker by granted permit to
reroof Central Cafe. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Brown seconded by Councilman Berglin
that permit for addition to rear of Almose Restaurant
be approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Steele seconded by Councilman Over-
ton that the applications df Boone -Huffman Developement
Corp. for two dwelling rentals and a one story office
building bn Fairhope Avenue be approved as per sketch
on file. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Steele seconded by Councilman Over-
ton that Mr. Wm. Lauten be appointed as Civil Defense
Director in the City of Fairhope and that the Cityaappro-
riate necessary funds to take care of minor expenses.
Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Bradford seconded by Councilman
Serglin that the meeting adjourn. Notion carried.
