COUNTY OF BALDWIN
The City Council of the City of Fairhope met in regular ses-
sion at the City Hall on Monday, January 89 1951 at 7:30 PM
with the following members present: 0ikyr°Sdptd.C..1B:.,I)l Niemeyer,
Councilmen 11. 0. Berglin, J. T. Bradford, R. H. Brown, E.
Overton and Ira Steel Mayor T. J. Klumpp being absent and
Councilmen Berglin acting as Mayor.
On motion by Councilman Brown seconded by Councilman Overton
the minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and
approved as reud.
Mrs. Barbara Gooden appeared before the Council about the
possibility of starting a Tourist Club in Fairhope.
Mr. Blatchford, Mr. Pitman and Mr. Macon representing the
Chamber of Commerce met with the Council to discuss the pos-
sibility of securing industries in the City.
Yotion By Councilman Brown seconded by Councilman Steel that
the City endorse the Chamber of Commerce's efforts to bring
new industries to Fairhope. Motion carried,
Motion by Councilman,Overton seconded by Councilman Brown
that the following bills be approved for payment:
