County of Baldwin
The Town Council of the Town of Fairhope met in regular
session at the Town Hall, Monday, January 9, 1950 with
the following mer.-bers present: Mayor, T.J.Klumpp, Council-
men 11. 0. Berglin, J. T. Bradford, R.H. Brown and Ira N.
Steele. Councilman E. B. Overton and City Superintendent
C. B. Niemeyer being absent.
On motion by Councilman Berglin seconded by Councilman
Steele the minutes of the previous regular meeting were
approved as read.
Motion by Councilman Brown seconded by Councilman Berglin
that the Town purchase.two new Transformers. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman Brown seconded by Councilman Brad-
ford that the following Resolution be adopted.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE T01WT COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF FAI-RHOPE that, for the purpose of paying
the general and usual operating expenses of the
Town of Fairhope, for the purpose of Street
Improvement, for the purpose of purchasing machiner"T �aI-_
and equipment for street improvements,and for the
purchase of office equipment, the Town of Fair -
hope borrow Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00)
through and by the issuance and sale of five (5)
,One Thousand Dollar ($1,000.00) time warrants,
bearing interest at the rate of, not exceeding,
three per cent (3%) per annum, and payable on or
before the 12th day of January, 1951.
Potion carried.
