HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-11-1947 Regular MeetingSTATE OF ALAB?.MA County of Baldwin The Twon Council of the Torn of Fairhope met in regular session at the Town Hall, Tuesday, November 11, 1947 at 7:30 P.M. with the following members present: Mayor, Howard Ruge, Councilmen: C. A. Gaston, H. P. Kamper, W.O.Keeble and J. 0. Stimpson. Council- man J.H. Bennett absent. The Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read and approved. The following bills were allowed. Motion carried. It was duly moved and seconded that t'-e meeting adjourn. Approved -------� 't Mayor THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED, That the Town Council of the Town of Fairhope will sit between the hours of 8:00 o'clock P.M. and 9:00 o'clock P.M. on the 25th day of November, 1947, to hear and determine any arc' all objections to such assessment of town taxes. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor of t'-e Town of Fafhhope and th.e Clerk of the Town of Fairhope be and they are hereby directed to cause notice of such assessment of taxes, and of the time and place for hearing and determining objections thereto to be given by publication in the Fairhope Courier, in its issues of October 30th and November 6th, 1947.
