County of Baldwin
The Town Council of the Town of Fairhope met in
regular session at the Town Hall Tuesday, June 24,
1947 with the following members present: Mayor: -
Howard Ruge, Councilmen: J.H. Bennett, C.A. Gaston,
H.P. Kamper, W.O.Keeble and J.O. Stimpson.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read
and approved.
Motion by Councilman J.H.Bennett seconded by Council-
man J.O.Stimpson that the application of Carl Bloxham
for construction of Boat House on Fly Creek be tabled
for further consideration. Motion carried,
Motion by Councilman H.P.Kamper seconded by Council-
man W.O. Keeble that the Fairhope Single Tax Corpora-
tion be requested to deed to Town of Fairhope the
West 10' of Block 7, Division 4 for the purpose of
widening Section Street between Johnson and Bellangee
Streets, the Town to reimburse the Fairhope Single
Tax Corporation for any payments made to leesees for
improvements on the land involved. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman C.A. Gaston seconded by Council-
man J.O.Stimpson that the Dyson -McNichol application
for addition to Building on Lot 14, Block 4, Division
3 be approved. Motion carried.
It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting adjourn.

to build an addition to the Fairhope Hatchery be allowed.
Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman C. A. Gaston, seconded by Council-
man J. 0. Stimpson that Councilman Bennett be appointed
Acting Mayor and Recorder in the absence of Mayor Ruge.
Motion carried.

man H. P. Kamper that after three years continuous
service the Town employees be given two weeks annual
vacation effective with the present vacation period.

It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting adjourn.
