County of Baldwin
The Town Council of the Town of Fairhope met in
regular session at the Town Hall Tuesday May 13,
1947 with the following members present: Mayor
Howard Ruge, Councilmen: J.H. Bennett, C.A.Gaston,
H.P.Kamper, W.O.Keeble and J.O. Stimpson.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were
read and approved.

Motion by Councilman J.O. Stimpson seconded by Council-
man H. P. Kamper that the Town take a one page ad in
the High School Annual. Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman C. A. Gaston seconded by Council-
man W. 0. Keeble that the Application of D. M. Ludlow
for retail beer permit at Live Oaks Grill be allowed.
Motion carried.
Motion by Councilman J.H. Bennett seconded by Council-
man H.P. Kamper that C. C. Baldwin be allowed to put
recess in sidewalk on passage west of Greers Store and
covered with steel plate flush with sidewalk. Motion
carried.
Motion by Councilman-W.O. Keeble seconded by Councilman
C. A. Gaston that the application of A.H. Richcreek to
build nearer than 30 feet to Pine Street be rejected.
Motion carried.
