This is not to be interpreted as a move on the part of the Annual Staff to secure from the town any special financial assistance as the drive for adver- tising has already been completed and has received the excellent support which the town always gives to projects of this sort. The Staff did not feel free to dedicate the Annual in this gray without permission of the Town Council which represents the people of the town. It is planned to incorporate suitable views of the town in the dedication. In this way we hope to be able to show to the town the appreciation which we as students feel fqr the cooperation and very real assistance which has been given to us in an educational way by those who are called upon to represent the town of Fairhope in its government and civic progress.
