Kamper that the Mayor be authorized to proceed with the acquisition of the, electric line of the Baldwin County Power Co. from the Y,south to the Blue Light and west toward Fly Creek on terms- discussed. I'lotion carried: p` The following ordinance was introduced by Councilman I1..0. Berglin -'- and read in full by the Clerk: �- &A Eft (,r / BE IT ORDAINED BY T TON�N COUNIGIL OF THT+� TOWN OF FAIRHOPE: Section 1: That there shall be and is hereby authorized to be established in the Town of Fairhope a Bureau of Identification, consisting of the complete bertillon, finger, palm and foot print, and photographicc system of identification.. Section 2: That the Mayor shall appoint the person whose i duty it shall be to superintend and direct the identification dystem in the Town of Fairhope, at the Town Hall, which such Arson an a ointed shall hold such position and perform such p pp service at the will of the Mayor and such person shall only be an employee of the Town and shall not be paid -any additional compensation for such service. The Town Marshall may be the person appointed by the Mayor to superintend and direct such identification system. Section 3: The person so appointed to superintend and direct the identification system hereby provided for shall make and record identification photographs, measurements and finger, t palm, and foot prints of all persons charged or suspected of ' Criminal offenses which in the opinion of the Mayor and of the Town Marshal should be made and recorded, and shall perform such duties in connection therewith as he shall be directed to by the Ma.y o r and by the Town Marshal. ` Section 4: All supplies and equipment necessary for the establishment and maintenance of such Rzreau of Identification shall be purchased by the Mayor on hehalf of the Town. Section 5r The Mayor of the Town may make such identification photographs, measurements and prints available to the States, County and Federal authorities when ever in his judgment it is proper so to do.
