The Town Council of the Town of 10airhope met in an adjourned
session at the Town Hall, ',Wednesday, I'ovember 15, 1939 at
7:30 P.M. with the following members present: Councilmen
H.P., Kamper, presiding, Councilmen: L'.0. Berglin, Sam Dyson,
C.A. Gaston and J.O. Stimpson.
Tl-e minutes of the previous regular and special meeting were
approved as read.

It was moved by Coucnilman Sam Dyson and seconded by Council-
man 111.0. Berglin that a building permit for Falter H. Roberts,
be granted, as per plans and specifications on file. 1:otion
carried.
It was moved. by Councilman J.O. Stimpson and seconded by
Councilman TS.O. Berglin that a building permit be granted
to _Baldwin-Niemdyer as per plans and specifications on file..
Motion carried.
It - was moved by Councilman C.A. Gaston and seconded .by Council-
man IT.O. T3erglin that an order be placed with Clarke Brothers
for an insulating mat for the electric plant, be approved.

.It was moved by Councilman Sam Dyson and seconded by Council-
man 11..0. Berglin that the request of Professor Alexander and
Professor Bennett, principals of the Organic and Public Schools,
use the Country Club on Saturday evenings for school parties.
Motion carried.
It was moved by Councilman C.A.. Gaston and seconded by Council-
man J:0. �St meson that the Industrial Rate for electric current
now in effect be amended to read as follows:

01.11 gross per K.W. connected load plus
* ENERGY CHARGE

Included in demand charge, 10 K.W.H. per Kid of demand
3.3X gross per Kaki up to 1000 MVH per month, plus
2.2,c/ gross per KVM for the next 4000 KVJH per month, plus
1.1X gross per KVTIi for the next 15000 K`XTH per month,. plus
9.8 T7ils gross per KITH for the next 30000 Ki"H per month, plus
8.7 mils gross for all over 50000 KVTH per month.
J C OiMEC TAD LOAD
The connected load tivill be the sum of the individual ratings
of the lights, power equipment and motors that can be operated
simultaneously. One horse power of motor load will be figured
as 746^ r va,tts.
I1INI.MR.1 BILL
The minimum bill will be the demand charge as above specified.

' PHO: IPT PAYIENT DISCOUNT
-- The prompt payment discount is as applied to other electric
services, 15%.

It was duly moved and seconded that the meeting be adjourned
to meet in adjourned session at 7:30 P.M. November 20, 1939.
