Home My WebLink About02-08-1937 Regular MeetingSTATE OF ALABAMA BALDWIN COUNTY The Council of the TOWN OF FAIRHOPE met in regular session Monday February the 8th.91937. The fol- lowing members were present, Howard Ruge, Mayor, M. 0. Berglin, Sam Dyson, C. A. Gaston, H. P. Kamper and J. 0. Stimpson Councilmen. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. Moved by C. A. Gaston, and seconded by M. 0. Berglin that the Boy Scout Committee be given permission to erect a Scout Club House in the Beach Park at the foot of Fels Avenue, the exact location subject to the approval of Coun- cilman J. 0. Stimpson chairman of the Park Committee provid- ing that the Town may terminate this permit at will, and upon termination that the Boy Scouts be permitted to remove building. Motion Carried. Moved by C. A. Gaston that the Mayor be authorized to pro- ceed with the re -location of primary and secondary electric lines as per plans submitted by Engineer Wood. Seconded by J. 0. Stimpson.
