County of Baldwin, State. of Alabama, riet in special session at the Town Hall at 7 : 30 O, clock P. I.I. on the 5.4 day of 1936, when and where. the following members were: present: Howard Ruge, Liayor, Messrs. C. A. Gaston, W. 0. feeble, T. J. Klumpp, J. 0. stimpson, and T.I. 0. Berglin, Councilmen; the. same constituting the full membership of the Town Council. Due and proper notice of the said. special meeting of the Tovin Council having been given to each of the meribers of the said Tovm Council, and each being present, does. here- by waive formal notice of the said meeting and as. evidence thereof sign the minutea of thin meeting. The following business bras transacted: The members of the said Town Council, the governing body of the said Town, constituting the board required by law to canvass the returns of an election held under an ordinance heretofore adopted on the `Ly day of l azl1936, to determine whether or not the electors of said Tovm were in favor of the issuance of Forty- two (w42,000.00) Thousand Dollars of bonds. of the said Town to refund valid outstanding indebtednessof the said Town; said election having been held on the 31st day of, T_iarch, 1936, and the same having been called and 'held in all things: in strict conformity with the statutes made and provided, did` proceed to canvass the returns of the said election and de- clare. the result thereof, and did certify the said canvass and returns of said election in words. and. figures as follows: 9� We, HOtFAPD RUGS, Mayor, and C . A. GASTON, T. J. KLMAPP, 0. KE BLE, J. 0. STD PSM, and M. 0. BERGLIIT, Councilmen, constituting all the members of the governing body of the Town of Fairhope, Baldwin County, Alabama, here- by certify, that on this Wednesday, April is t, 1936, at 7 : 30 P. M., it being the. day following the -election held in said Town on Llarch 31st, 1936, to determine whether or not said Tovai should issue its bonds. aggregating Forty-two Thousand ('42,000.00) Dollars- to refund valid outstanding indebted- ness of said Town, we met at the City Hall in Fairhope, Ala- bama, the usual place of meeting, to canvass the returns and declare the result of said election, as required by lays, and do hereby declare the result of said election: For refunding bond issue ninety-two (92:) votes; against refunding bond is- sue no votes.
