Monday, search 23, 1936 with the following member present Howard
Ruge, Mayor; M. U. Berglin, C. A. Gaston, W. 0. Keeble, T. J.
Klumpp and J. 0. Stimpson, councilmen.
The minutes of the tegular meeting March 9th and special meet-
ing March 2oth Were approved as read.
Motion by Councilman C.XA. Gastotti, seconded by Councilman J. U.
Stimpson that the salary of George C. Dyson, Inspector of water
and sewer system, be increased $5.00 per month effective April 1st.
1936 ; full salary to be paid from the Operating a tnd- t of the
Ne.terworks and sewer Ace(J.unt; carried
Mrs. E. L. Gordon was present and talk on a project tnat could
be developed in and be beneficial to the Town of Fairhope.
Mdation was made by Councilman C. A. Gaston and seconded by
Councilman V. 0. Berglin that the `town endorse the dultural,
Recreational and Wducational Project as presente)by Ara* E. L.Gordon,
and that a representative be appointed to work with a Community
Committee. Motion carried and Couniilman c . A. Gaston was appointed
as the representative.
Moiion made by Councilman C. A. Gaston and seconded by Council-
man J. U. Stimpson that G. R. Wood be advanced to position of Chien
Electrician at a salary of $115.00 monthly effective April let, 1936,
carried.
