The following resolution was offered by Councilman U. A.
Gaston, who moved its adoption; the smae being read at length,
the motion of adoptionvas sedonded by Wuncilman -9!.Q:_-Stimpson,
and the same being put upon Its passage, was adopted; voting
therefor: Howard Ruge, Mayor; C.A. Gaston, W. 0. Keeblei, T. J.
Klumpp and J.• 0. Stimpackp, Councilmen. Voting against same, jioneo
Said resolution being as follows:
1i1HEAS the 'Town of Fai rhdpe has been notified
to secure an#,option to certain lands in ..the
Glenon Estate in Baldwin County, Alabama, to
accompany their application of said-Town'.of Fair -
hope for the location and development of aa:Ai.r-
port a2d boat harbor, now therefore:
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Bairhope that the payor be instructed to accept
in behalf of the Town of-'airhope an optio# for
necessary lands from Mr. Mahorner., Trustee for the
Glenon Estate, and further that he be authorized
to secure such land in accordance with the terms
of the option, if and when the United States
Government appropriate the necessary fun" for
development and so instructs the 'Town of Wai rhopb.
