The IZouncil of the Town of F&trhope met in regular session
Man#ay, April 22, 1935 with the following members present
Howard Ruge, Mayor; M. 0. Berglin, C. A. Gaston, W. 0. Keeble
T. J. Hlumpp and J. 0. Stimpson, Councilmen.
The minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read.
The following :Federal Public Works Administration bill were
allowed;
J. B. Converse & Go.
W. C. Beebe
Bidgood Stationery Co.
The Fairhope Courier
The Dixie Contractor
The Birmingham News
The Mobile Press
Pittsburgh Testing Labratory

Motion made by T. J. Klumpp seconded by M-.O. Derg�in that
the offer of J. E. Gaston to sell hsthuilding to the Town
for $1,900.00 be accepted and the Town make necessagy repairs
carried.
M. 0. Berglin made motion seconded by 34io. tStimpson that
the Mayor be authorized to issue warrants in the amount of
1,500.00 toward the purchase of building, Motion carried.
Cp A. Gaston made a motion seconded by J. 0. Stimpson that
a committee beappointed to draft: a resolution to be sent to
the Governor and State Highway Uept. urging the completion of
the Robertsdale road from Fish River to the Town limits.
Motion carried and C. A. Gaston and M. 0. Berglin were appointdd
as the committee.
Motion by Councilman Gaston seconded by I-ouncilman Berglin that
the Town pay the expenses of Mayer Ruge to Montgomery to
attend the meeting of the Alabama heagge of Municipalities,
carried.
