M. in the Town hall when and where the following members were present., to -wit:- Howard Huge, Mayor; M. 0. Berglin, G. A. Gaston, W. 0. Keeble, T. J. Klumpp and J. 0. Stimpson, the same con.--ituting the full member- ship cif the Council. the minutes of the regular meeting garch 25th and special meet- ing April 5th, 1935 were approved as read. B Slaughter " 2.00 Irwin Ourtis W .80 Motion was made by Councilman Gaston seconded by Councilman Bergjinti that the Town continue Workman's Commpensation and liability insurance on the Employees of the Town. Motion carried. Notion was made by Councilman Berglin and seconded by Councilman Stimpson that the estimate of J. E. Lawrence of $319-00 for moving 'heeler Building be accepted and contract awarded. Motion carried. Motion was made by Coubcilman Gaston seconded by Councilman Stimpson that the mayor be authorized to dispose of Motel T chasis of fireetruck and replace same with more efficient chasis. Motion carried. Councilman Gaston made a motion that &.committee be appointed to act with the Mayor, in considering the offer of J. B. Gaston to sell certain improvements on land adjacent to the Townts holding in Block 5 and also to secure a conveyance from the Fairhope dingle Tax Corporation for the land involved, if desired, together with additional land on Bancroft Street and that the committee 'be empowered to act. Motion carried and the following were appointed as the committee; Counnilman M..O. Berglin, Councilman T . J Hlumpp and Mr. M. Dyson. Couhcilman Gaston made a motion which was seconded by Councilman Stimpson that the Council approve the plan 69 installing under- ground conduit on Fairhope Ave and Section Street and Mayor be authorized to carry out such plans. Motion carried.
