The following mnbets were present Howard Huge,. Mayor; M. 0. Berglin, C. A. Gaston, T. J. Klumpp and J. 0. Stimpson, counilmen. Christie nutchinson & Burton Co., In. requested withdrawal of bid, which was granted before opening of bids. After the opeening of the bids the Council retired until 4;30 o'Clock. At 4:30 o'clock the Councili reassembled with the following members ' present, Howard Huge, Mayor; M. 0. Berglin, C. A. Gaston, T. J. El.umpp. and J.O. Stimpson, councilmen. The Lngineer, J. B. Converse reported the following loci bidders; Severs Items 1 to 20 exclusive of item 17 Langston & Murphy Contruction Co 42,328.30 Item 17 Dyson & Company 10s968.00 Plater Items 1 to 2u 6miusive of items 1 & 7 Z. B. Hellrary Co., inc. 50.423.02 Item 1 Gray artesian Well Co 3.957•00 Item 7 Chicago Bridge & Iron Works 7,420.00 After hearing the engineers report and recommendation motion was made by councilman Berglin seconded by Uounci'lsnan Klum,.jo that the contract be avdxdedotblibhe lowest bidders as set out above subject to the approval of the State Engineer of the Public Works Administration. ifotion carried unanimo utly.
