ORDINANCE NO. 1493
AN ORDINANCE TO REPEAL SECTIONS 3-1 THROUGH 3-5 IN
THE FAIRHOPE CODE OF ORDINANCES THAT
ESTABLISHED THE FAIRHOPE AIRPORT BOARD;
TO REPEAL ORDINANCE NO.681 AND ORDINANCE NO. 743
AND TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 920
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, as follows:
Section 1. That the City of Fairhope City Council hereby repeals the following Section
of the City of Fairhope Code of Ordinances and amends Ordinance No. 920:
Chapter 3. Aircraft And Airports, Article I. In — General:
Sections 3-1 through 3-5 that established the Fairhope Airport Board.
Ordinance No. 920 is amended to remove the "Fairhope Airport Board."
The Balance of Ordinance No. 920 remains as written and codified: which pertained
to the Harbor Board, the Library Board, and the Recreation Board.
Section 2. If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this
Ordinance is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct and independent
provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions
hereof.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and
publication as required by law.
