HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1303c� w =0 -fl U ccCL LU d 0 Q z'� �w 0 F=— ORDINANCE NO.: 1303 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1256 AN ORDINANCE TO PROMOTE THE PUBLIC SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELFARE BY PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF SPECIAL SEWER FACILITIES AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO UNDERGROUND ABSORPTION SYSTEMS FOR PERSONS WITHIN THE CITY AND ITS JURISDICTION - MONTROSE AREA BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, as follows: Sec. 12-42 Definitions. Changed Sewer maintenance fee means a one time monetary fee of property served by sewer which fee shall be due and payable at time of issuance of authorization to connect to the City's system: • Twelve dollars ($12.00) per front foot of property served on County Road 1 and Scenic Highway 98 • Eleven dollars ($11.00) per foot for Colonial Acres • Eighteen dollars ($18.00) per foot for Fish River • Seventeen dollars Fifty cents ($17.50) per foot for Montrose Area — Phase One (sea Cliff drive to Parker Road and from Parker Road to lift Station). • Seventeen dollars fifty cents ($17.50) per foot for Montrose Area — Phase II and any other part of Montrose. Sec. 12-45. Scope of work. - Changed The work of the qualified installer shall consist of the live tap to the force main, installation of corporation stop and fittings, installation of 11/2" diameter not to exceed 2" in diameter HDPE SDR 11 piping, gate valve, valve box, fittings and check valves, all in compliance with project plans and specifications. The city shall assume maintenance of the system from the inlet side of the gate valve to the main. The city will perform no maintenance outside the limits of the right-of-way. The city shall provide if necessary a bore under roadway to provide access to all sewer mains to Colonial Acres, Fish River, and Montrose.
