ORDINANCE NO. 1288
WHEREAS, RLF BALDWIN PROPERTIES, LLC., the owner of the hereinafter
described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal
corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as
amended; and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate
limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police
jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of
Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit: _ Z
Property is located South of intersection County Road 44 and Highway 181 (aka County
Road 27).

Commence at the "locally accepted" Northeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of Section 27, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, and thence run South 00 degrees 04
minutes 53 seconds West, a distance of 1222.99 feet; thence run North 89 degrees 55 minutes 58
seconds West, a distance of 40.08 feet to a point on the West margin of Baldwin County
Highway No. 27 for a Point of Beginning: thence continue North 89 degrees 55 minutes 58
seconds West, a distance of 289.99 feet; thence run South 00 degrees 04 minutes 02 seconds
West a distance of 20.00 feet; thence South 89 degrees 55 minutes 58 seconds East, a distance of
269.99 feet; thence South 00 degrees 04 minutes 53 seconds West a distance of 100.00 feet;
thence run south 89 degrees 55 minutes 58 seconds East, a distance of 20.00 feet; thence North
00 degrees 04 minutes 53 seconds East, a distance of 120.00 feet to the Point of beginning.
Tract contains 0.18 acres, more or less, and lies in the Northeast quarter of Section 27, Township
6 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.
This property shall be zoned R-1, Low Density Single- Family Residential District.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of
the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin
County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and publication as
required by law.

We, the undersigned PETITIONER(S), owner(s) of the lands in fee simple described in the attached EXHIBIT A, such
property being without the Corporate Limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate
Limits; and such property not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of any other municipality, do, by these
presents, hereby petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into the City of
Fairhope, Alabama.
The subject land is delineated on the map attached hereto as EXHIBIT B.
This petition is filed tinder authority of Section 11-42-21, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended.
