ORDINANCE NO.1248
WHEREAS, KLUMPP FAMILY LIMITED PARTNERSHIP AND FAIRHOPE SINGLE TAX
CORPORATION, the owner of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of
Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975,
as amended; and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, that
the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope,
Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and
the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit:
LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS: ARLINGTON FARMS SUBDIVISION

Commence at a railroad spike marker at the "Locally Accepted" Southwest corner of the Northwest
quarter of Section 14, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, St. Stephens Meridian, and run thence East
611.19 feet and North 39.79 feet to an Iron Pin Marker at the Southeast corner of Lot Number 6 in the
resubdivision of Lot #3 of Blueberry Orchard Subdivision, Unit 3, as shown by map or plat thereof
recorded at Slide File 2067-F and 2068-A, Probate Records, Baldwin County, Alabama; thence run South
89 degrees 58 minutes 45 seconds East, 329.99 feet for a POINT OF BEGINNING: thence run North 00
degrees 04 minutes 32 seconds East, 780.00 feet to an iron pin marker; thence run North 60 degrees 20
minutes 59 seconds East, 80.80 feet to an iron pin marker; thence run North 00 degrees 01 minutes 15
seconds East, 142.34 feet to an iron pin marker; thence run South 89 degrees 57 minutes 10 seconds West,
400.03feet to an iron pin marker; thence run North 00 degrees 04 minutes 32 seconds East, 30.00 feet to
an iron pin marker at the Northeast corner of Lot #5 of said subdivision; thence run North 89 degrees 57
minutes 10 seconds East, 679.43 feet to an iron pin marker; thence run South 02 degrees 11 minutes 32
seconds West, 110.26 feet to a point in the center of a 20-foot wide drainage easement; thence run
Southeastwardly, along and following the center of said easement, the following courses: South 63
degrees 21 minutes 02 seconds East, 271.46 feet; South 42 degrees 41 minutes 43 seconds East, 139.11
feet; thence departing said easement centerline, run North 47 degrees 18 minutes 17 seconds East, 90.00
feet; thence run South 41 degrees 22 minutes 47 seconds East, 91.27 feet; thence run South 24 degrees 57
minuters 35 seconds East, 288.57 feet to a point in the center of said drainage easement; thence run North
42 degrees 41 minutes 43 seconds West, 105.40 feet; thence run South 89 degrees 58 minutes 14 seconds
West, 529.65 feet to an iron pin found (Fairhope); thence run South 00 degrees 04 minutes 32 seconds
West, 466.61 feet to an iron pin found (Fairhope) on the North right-of-way of Baldwin County Highway
No. 48; thence run North 89 degrees 58 minutes 45 seconds West, 330.00 feet to the POINT OF
BEGINNING. Tract contains 11.07 acres, more or less, subject to an existing 20 foot wide drainage
easement over and across the Northern and Northeastern margin thereof, and lies in the Northwest quarter
of Section 14, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama.
This property shall be zoned R-1, Low Density Single- Family Residential District.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the Petition and the
exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and publication as required by law.

We, the undersigned PETITIONER(S), owner(s) of the lands in fee simple described in the attached EXHIBIT A, such
property being without the Corporate Limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate
Limits; and such property not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of any other municipality, do, by these
presents, hereby petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be artnexed into the City of
Fairhope, Alabama.
The subject land is delineated on the map attached hereto as EXHIBIT B.
This petition is filed tinder authority of Section 11-42-21, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended.
