HomeMy WebLinkAboutO-1202d M J01 rid ORDINANCE NO. 1202 WHEREAS, CITY OF FAIRHOPE , the owner of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to - wit: Property is located next to the H.L. "Sonny" Callahan Airport on County Road 32, Baldwin County, Fairhope, Alabama (Former owner Fred Burmeister — Tract 1) LEGAL DESCRIPTION: TRACT 1 A parcel of land located in Section 33, Township 6 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama, more particularly described as follows: Commence at the SE Corner of Section 33, Township 6 South, Range 2 East and proceed on a bearing of N 89' 52' 45" W, a distance of 1332.95 feet; thence proceed on a bearing of N 00' 15' 31" E, a distance of 39.11 feet, to the North right-of-way of Baldwin County Road 32 and the Point of Beginning; thence continue on a bearing of N 00' 15' 3 1 " E, a distance of 800.76 feet; thence proceed on a bearing of S 80' 24' 57" E, a distance of 306.88 feet; thence proced on a bearing of S 17' 49' 10" W, a distance of 787.60, to the North right-of-way of Baldwin County Road 32; thence proceed on a bearing of N 89' 52' 22" W, along the North right-of-way of Baldwin County Road 32, a distance of 65.19 feet, to the Point of Beginning. This parcel contains 3.34 acres, more or less. This property shall be zoned R-1, Low Density Single- Family Residential District. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
