ORDINANCE NO. 1186
WHEREAS, CITY OF FAIRHOPE , the owner of the hereinafter described property, did,
in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section
11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate limits of
the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of
any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -
wit:
"Sonny"
Property is located next to the H.L. Callahan Airport on County Road 32, Baldwin County,
Fairhope, Alabama (Former owners Austin F. Beasley and Betty C. Beasley)

more particularly described as follows: Commence at the Southeast corner of the Southeast 1/4
of Section 4, Township 7 South, Range 2 East; and proceed on a bearing of North 89 degrees 27
minutes 07 West, a distance of 1333.07 feet; thence proceed on a bearing of North 89 degrees 28
minutes 13 seconds West, a distance of 663.51 feet; thence proceed on a bearing of North 00
degrees 13 minutes 36 seconds East, a distance of 584.05 feet, to THE POINT OF
BEGINNING; Thence CONTINUE ON A BEARING OF North 00 degrees 13 minutes 36
seconds East, a distance of 528.96 feet; THENCE PROCEED ON A BEARING OF South 89
degrees 32 minutes 04 seconds East, a distance of 87.01 feet THENCE PROCEED ON A

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the
Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County,
Alabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and publication as required
by law.

property being without the Corporate Limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama, but being contiguous to the said Corporate
Limits; and such property not lying within the corporate limits or police jurisdiction of any other municipality, do, by these
presents, hereby petition. the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into the City of
