G•�•yyF H6 ORDINANCE NO. 1166 WHEREAS, CITY OF FAIRHOPE , the owner of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to - wit: Property is located North of Bishop Road LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS: TRACT 8 A parcel of land located in Section 9, Township 7 South, Range 2 East, Baldwin County, Alabama: Commence at an iron spike in the asphalt on Farm to Market Road being the Northeast corner of the Northwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 9, Township 7 South, Range 2 East; thence South 00 degrees 09 minutes 57 seconds West a distance of 30.02 feet to a''/z inch iron rebar found; thence South 00 degrees 07 minutes 16 seconds West a distance of 1277.55 feet to a calculated point; thence South 89 degrees 39 minutes 18 seconds West a distance of 1201.42 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North 00 degrees 58 minutes 09 seconds East, a distance of 604.42 feet to a calculated point to be set; thence North 34 degrees 04 minutes 15 seconds East a distance of 825.77 feet to the South right-of-way of Farm to Market Road; thence North 89 degrees 43 minutes 13 seconds West along the South right-of-way of Farm to Market Road, a distance of 1266.27 feet to a % inch iron rebar found; thence South 00 degrees 06 minutes 33 seconds West a distance of 1299.33 feet to a three inch by five foot high post; thence North 89 degrees 39 minutes 18 seconds East a distance of 795.91 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; containing 27.50 acres more or less. This property shall be zoned R-1, Low Density Single- Family Residential District. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
