ORDINANCE NO. 1120
WHEREAS, NAME AS LISTED the owners of the hereinafter described
property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for
annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and
WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW,
THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE,
ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate
limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the
police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the
City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit:

Lot 2 of Point Clear Court according to the plat thereof recorded in Slide No. 1586-13,

South 00 degrees, 12 minutes 6 seconds West along the East boundary line of said Lot 3

District.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of
the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin
County, Aiabama.
This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its due adoption and publication as
required by law.

JOINT PETITION FOR ANNEXATION

BALDWIN COUNTY }
Under authority of Section 11-42-21, Code of Alabama, 1975 as amended, the undersigned
persons, whose names and property descriptions are respectively shown herein, as owners in fee
simple of lands situated in Point Clear Court (the official plat of which is recorded in the Probate
Records of Baldwin County, Alabama at Slide Number 1586-B/1587-B) and which lands are
without the Corporate Limits of Fairhope, Alabama and which do not lie within the corporate
limits or police jurisdiction of any other municipality, do, by these presents, hereby petition the
City Council of the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, that said property be annexed into
the City of Fairhope, Alabama. The property to be annexed is as described herein and a map
thereof is attached hereto as Exhibit `B". Supplemental Justice Department information is
attached and made a part hereof.
Petitioners understand and agree that the said property shall, concurrent with annexation, be
automatically zoned by the City Council for single-family residential use as provided in Section
8.8 of the Fairhope Zoning Ordinance (Ordinance Number 557).
