I al HI 10 ORDINANCE NO. 1119 WHEREAS, BATTLES LANDAU COMPANY , the owner of the hereinafter described property, did, in writing, petition the City of Fairhope, a municipal corporation, for annexation under Section 11-42-21 of the Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended; and WHEREAS, a map of said property is attached to said Petition as an exhibit; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF FAIRHOPE, ALABAMA, that the following described property, lying contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Fairhope, Alabama; and not within the corporate limits or the police jurisdiction of any other municipality; be and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Fairhope, Alabama, to -wit: Property is located in Point Clear, Alabama LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS: TAX PARCEL 45-07-25-0-000-001-002 (From Deed Book 460 page 656-7, Parcel One only) Beginning at the Northeast Corner of Section 25, T6S, R1E, Baldwin County, Alabama, run N-89 degrees 48'49"-W, 743.5 feet to the Eastern Boundary of Alternate U.S. Highway 98; thence S-11 degrees 54'-W, 773.23 feet along the eastern right-of-way of said Highway 98 to an iron pin; thence East 254.5 feet to a point; thence S-0 degrees 04'-W, 645.60 feet to a point on the north side of Henshaw Road; thence North along Henshaw Road 652.17 feet to an intersection with the eastern boundary of said Section 25; thence N-0 degrees 06' 10" -W along said eastern boundary 1404.54 feet to the Point of Beginning. The parcels contains 67 acres more or less. This property shall be zoned R-1, Low Density Single- Family Residential District. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that a certified copy of this Ordinance, with a copy of the Petition and the exhibit, be recorded in the Office of the Probate Judge, Baldwin County, Alabama.
